Charvel EVH Guitars Four Instructions

1.Scope the neck of the Charvel EVH Guitars, holding the body lateral to the shoulder, to determine the amount of relief needed. If any bow is present in the neck, the truss rod will need to be turned to get the neck as straight as possible.
2.Use an Allen wrench to loosen the locking nut system at the headstock and loosen the strings of the guitar with the tuning machines on the headstock. Slide the strings out of the way of the cavity for the truss rod.
3.Use an Allen wrench to turn the truss rod until it is just tight. Tighten the strings back to tension and desired tuning.
4.Examine the line of the floating bridge top plate compared to the body line of the guitar. It should be exactly parallel. If it is not parallel after the neck adjustment, the springs holding the bridge in place need to be adjusted.

Charvel EVH Guitars Details

The Charvel EVH Guitars is a limited-production guitar produced by the Charvel guitar company in collaboration with Eddie Van Halen, guitar player for the rock band Van Halen. The guitar is highly sought after because it is one of the few reproductions that stays true to the performance and feel of the original. The Charvel EVH, like any other guitar, requires adjustment from time to time to maintain its optimal playing condition.
